Exciting Changes For Communify

When I started my company, I had big dreams for what it could be. I didn’t always know how I’d get there or when, but I knew I wanted to do great work and provide great service. Over the years, no matter the team, we’ve always worked to do just that, and make working with us enjoyable. Sometimes you don’t know that next step until the opportunity presents itself, and it did.

I’m happy to announce that Communify is now a division of Bovitz, a marketing research and strategy agency. We have been the creative go-to agency for many years for their experiential & social division (ION Marketing Group), and being a part of this team made perfect sense for our next growth move. The whole team is together and excited to work with our new colleagues. My new title is President and Creative Director of the Communify division, and I’m so excited to hang up a few of my admin hats for a while to focus on growth and creativity!

Joining this team also means a reunion with Tom Whitman, President of the ION division, who was an important part of the inception of my company. Tom and I worked together on two animated films after I finished CalArts, which then turned into working with him for ION clients including Gilead, General Motors, Hilton, Lufthansa, and others. This 20+ year partnership will reignite an amazing collaboration between our marketing services teams and help launch a bigger, purpose-driven vision that we share. (Stay tuned for that!)

The Bovitz team has an 18-year history of doing incredible work for clients ranging from MAC Cosmetics to Method to Google. Their focus is to lead a paradigm shift in the way the business world thinks about the path to profit, in which growth is only achieved by truly addressing people’s needs. We’re excited to explore how we can help achieve this shift and how we can bring their insights into our client work.
